Brewer Landscapes

Brewer Landscapes was started in 1983 by two brothers with a common goal of bringing quailty and trustworthy landscaping to the island at an affordable price. Paul and his brother David Brewer with little money in their pockets, decided to purchase a small mower and turn their goal into a business. They began going door to door offering their services. However, like most start-up companies, the Brewer brothers faced tough beginnings as they saw little return in their first few years which made them question their idea. However, their hard work ethic would not let them give up and they slowly began to expand their clientele. By 1990 they had purchased a bobcat and dump truck, thus making them a full service landscape company. Once the company was in a good place, David decided to move on. Paul along with the help of his brother-in-law Dan Decastro, head gardener and designer, continued to grow the company to where it is today. Paul's two sons Lucas and Cody have since joined the family business. Lucas runs Martha's Vineyard Irrigation while Cody manages the construction division of Brewer Landscapes. Although they have expanded, the common goal of bringing quality and trustworthy landscaping at an affordable price is still deeply rooted throughout the company.
